What is the difference between red and white meat?

This will fit perfectly within the question as it documents meat in a rightful place, the butchers.  It shows a natural display of different colours that are placed side by side, for people to choose what they would prefer. I like how this image subtly catches the butcher in, as a signifier towards the question.

In the crit a while ago, people suggested I needed to show animals so children can understand meat comes from animal so it depends of their diet and what they do. Near my village back home, is a field full of cows, I hoped over the fence and steadily captured a calf who wondered up to me to see what I was doing. I wanted the cow quite head on, and luckily it stopped in a perfect position for me to photograph it.

Chickens are the white meat and are vital in showing the difference of different meats.  I found the chickens hard to photograph as they moved everywhere. I would have liked the chicken to get closer for me to shoot its head, dead on, like the cow. However this couldn’t quite work.

Here are the chickens I will experiment in the book. I wanted to show just one chicken as I am only showing one cow.
